My name is Michael A Garcia, Video Engineer and Camera Operator.
I would like to take a moment to share with you my background. I Possess an extreme enthusiasm for film and Television projects along with my past work history, I am positive that you will see I have the potential to be a successful member of production team.
During the past few years, I have been actively building my network and expanding my work in narrative features, commercials, and episodic productions. I recently graduated from West Los Angeles College and Hollywood Cinema Production Resources in 2014, where I obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Film/Television Crafts and an Entertainment Artists Technician and Crafts Certificate. I was awarded with my first certification in Television Production in 2007 at Landmark Television.
My professional background consists mainly of Live Television Sports broadcasting that goes back 13 years. I've worked as Master Control Coordinator, Assistant Video Engineer, Television Camera Operator and Utility. I was involved in all aspects of live sports, video production and including documentaries; my range of skills include TV Lighting, Production Sound, Grip, Engineering, Camera, basic Non-Liner Editing and Information Technologies with primary focus in Video over IP solutions. All completed projects have allowed me to fine-tune my skills that will enable me to contribute to the bottom line of any production.
Working in Live Television as a Broadcast Engineer has taught me how to effectively work under pressure and maintain a calm collected demeanor to ensure the integrity of the production. I have also proven my ability to adapt myself to a variety of environments and productions.
